Perfect Holiday Gifts for the Foodies in Your Life

It's officially December so that means we can finally justify our Holiday shopping. I don't know about you, but I'm never on top of it enough to start shopping back in July. Usually my shopping starts right around Black Friday and sometimes extends right up to Christmas Eve when I'm dashing through the stores for a last minute gift. For those of you with foodies in your life, here's my little guide to the perfect gifts. And, there's a giveaway at the end!

$10 and under

These adorable little vintage style mugs make the perfect stocking stuffer for the coffee or tea drinkers in your life. At $6, these mugs are a steal!

My friend Missy is the inspiration for this addition to the list. She mentioned recently that she bought this spoon rest for a few foodies on her Christmas List. That's when it occurred to me that I don't have a spoon rest, so I decided to check it out. For $10, it's the perfect addition to your kitchen counter and it's dishwasher safe. Reviewers say it's even large enough to hold a soup ladle.

Sunny Submersible Ice Cube Set from ModCloth - $5.99
"We all live in a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine, a yellow submarine..." That's what you'll be singing in your head (our out loud, if you can carry a tune) when you see these adorable reusable ice cubes. They're perfect for the musical foodie with a love for the Beatles.

 $11 - $30

Meri Meri Parisian Cupcake Kit - $13.50
This cupcake decorating gift set comes with 24 greaseproof liners and 24 cupcake picks in four different designs including the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower. It makes the perfect gift for a traveling foodie.

Beer Lovers Towel Set by NestaHome on Etsy - $23.50
A set of 4 100% cotton towels, hand stamped with types of beer using vintage printers blocks. Perfect for the home brewer.

Melissa & Doug Slice and Bake Cookie Set - $16.20
How adorable is this wooden cookie set? Made for children 3 and up, it's the perfect gift for the little foodies in your life. It allows kids to slice and bake their own play cookies, just like a grown up would. It encourages children to engage in imaginary play and helps to improve motor skills.

Food Network Magazine - One Year Subscription - $18
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Food Network Magazine is amazing. It's always a good day when I find it waiting for me in my mailbox. I really think it's one of the most creative and interesting food magazines on the newsstand. And for that reason, I'm giving away a one year subscription to one very lucky reader. Scroll to the bottom for details on how to enter.

$30 and up

Fustini's Oils and Vinegars Dessert Lovers Set - $49
What's not to love about balsamic vinegar? It's sweet, it's tangy and it's so versatile. Now imagine chocolate and vanilla bean flavored balsamic. Add these sweet vinegars to your morning yogurt or drizzle over a strawberry shortcake. Combine them with extra virgin olive oil to create a unique salad dressing. Included in this gift set is the In the Kitchen with Fustini's Cookbook which provides recipes for using these decadent vinegars.

479° Popcorn Foodie Gift Set - $35
I was lucky enough to win one of these gift sets from Lynn over at Goodies for Gifts about a month ago. The gift set includes five boxes of organic, gourmet popcorn in flavors such as fleur de sel caramel, black truffle and white cheddar and chipotle caramel with almonds. My favorite of the set was the black truffle and white cheddar.

Philosophy Sweet Kisses & Merry Wishes Gift Set - $36
Philosophy rolls out a line of holiday scented body washes and lip glosses every Christmas. Last year, I snagged a set of glazed doughnut scented lotions and wash. When I wear the lotion, I can actually fool my coworkers into thinking I brought doughnuts for the office. The new scents this year include eggnog, funnel cake and pomegranate bubbly. This set includes all the new scents and an old favorite, peppermint bark.
